Water is the element of constant flow, change, and metamorphosis. It is the source of life, the universal solvent, and the great stabilizer. Praying with water is a simple yet profoundly powerful spiritual practice that can help us maintain our natural flow, stay energetically clear, and connect with the world around us.

This October, join us for an afternoon of curiosity and exploration at one of the tributaries of the Trinity River - the vital water source that feeds the cities from Dallas all the way to Houston.

Manu, spiritual scholar and ceremonialist, will be drawing inspiration from the deep spiritual wisdom of India and the Middle East. With his guidance will explore various ways to incorporate water into our personal and spiritual practices.

During our time together, you will learn and experience:

• Wudhu: A simple but highly effective energetic cleansing ritual to purify the body and mind.

• Achamanam (Sacred Water Sipping): A practice used to simply and effectively refresh the main energy channels in the body prior to meditation or spiritual practice.

• Tarpana (Ancestral Water Offering): A beautiful ritual to honor our lineages and satiate ancestral karma.

• Abishek (Flowing Water Ceremony): Rooted in Hinduism, this ceremony involves pouring flowing water while chanting mantras. This creates a powerful energetic effect that charges the atmosphere and brings about healing, abundance, and deep cleansing.

  
  

A Collective Offering for Texas After praying over the waters collectively, we will pour our love and intentions into the river, sending healing energy downstream to the waters that feed the people in nearly half of Texas.

Following the ceremony, we will have time to integrate the experience by exploring the beautiful nature trails at LLELA.

Exchange-$33 (an additional $5 vehicle fee at the park- please carpool if you can!). This time frame is approximate and of course, you will be welcome to explore the park on your own or together, before or after the ceremony.
